Country Angels

I wanted some good " solid" food and didn't want the usual major chain establishments. A friend suggested this place and it was just what I wanted. Had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, it hit the spot. I will be back to sample the rest of the menu. However, don't blink as you drive to this place because you could drive right past it; like I did😄😄

Usually you have the options good, cheap, and fast and you are told to choose two. Somehow Country Angels delivers all three to a great degree.

Music playing, quaint little nook, sweet and polite service, yummy fresh food...only thing was that the frosting on the carrot cake was a bit too sweet...so we scraped most of it off...yum😍 Would go again.

Love this restaurant! Everything you order is good from pizza to country fried steak to yummy salads. They do a great job!!

This is the kind of hole-in-the-wall place my grandad drags us grandkids off to for "an experience." This one nailed it, and I'll definitely be back for another visit. They serve A LOT of food. It's really good. And they're friendly. Parking may be tough, but put in the effort, and itll be worth it. Definitely a recommended place.

Awesome place! Found little tiny bone thing in hamburger. But was still good👍. Definitely would choose the onion rings

First time going and I was not disappointed. Really good Reuben and wings. I like little mom and pops places like that. They're a dying breed. Unfortunately.

Good food and pleasant atmosphere. I ordered the cat fish and my dad had the special of the day meatloaf and Black eyed peas. Bother were delicious and cooked well I liked the greens. Only bad thing I can say is the parking is tight other than that a good experience.

05/07/19: I do love to stop at country town restaurants and this one matches the bill. My waitress was just as sweet as she could be and she she was attentive and accurate with my order. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere was nice with several TVs around. I ordered a cheeseburger and French fries. Neither were show stoppers but they weren’t bad either. I try something different on my next trip through. Overall it was a good experience.

From the street this place looks like a dive. Not much better inside. Very dark inside even though it was broadcast daylight outside. Our group leader choose this place otherwise we never would have stopped here. A place only the locals eat because there is nothing else for miles. And miles.I had an egg white omelet that was decent with home fries. Friend had the French toast, said it was way too sweet and did not eat it.

I don’t understand why someone would give this place a good review. In a course of 3 years I’ve always seem to gave it a chance. Every time my order is never right. Food always comes cold. And good look waiting for someone to come and check up on you. If you think cheap Instant food is “southern” food then your out of your mind.

The mashed potatoes and gravy were barely warm and the outside of the burger was so brown all I could taste was burnt. And it was so cold in there that it wasn't enjoyable. Plenty to eat, quality could be much better. And they never have dessert.

I had a Cuban sandwich which was good. Jim had a delicious burger. Recently remodeled & clean.

Great food friendly service more than reasonably priced. Good place to enjoy with friends or business. You will feel welcome and appreciated

First timer here on friend's recommendation.Best BLT in my life with the fried green tomatoes! Eight of us were served promptly and all loved the food. Low prices too!

We went at lunch and they were really busy. Even though we called our order in it was still 40 mins before we received our drinks and food. Food was good and our server did an awesome job.
